Have you followed the case with the war between Barbie and Bratz?
Well it seems like the makers of Bratz won the case. Here is a snip of the ruling:
SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Mattel will have to post a $315 million bond if it wants to appeal a federal ruling that it tried to ruin the makers of the Bratz dolls.
A federal judge in Orange County set that figure on Tuesday, according to City News Service.
Mattel already has said it will appeal the judge's ruling earlier this month that awarded MGA Entertainment nearly $310 million in damages and attorney's fees.
Mattel had sued MGA, claiming that the former Mattel employee who created Bratz dolls stole trademark secrets when he joined the Van Nuys company. MGA argued that Mattel was simply trying to crush a rival to its Barbie dolls.
